Welcome to Piecepatcher - one Canadian quilter's website. My name is Carolyn and I love quilting, digital scrapbooking and graphics, cross-stitch, Electric Quilting software, books, cats, Canada, and genealogy. This site features quilting - I also created and manage a few non-profit websites, as well as our family's pages.

What's here?

Quilted Desktops are (free) desktop wallpaper backgrounds for your computer, which I will post from time to time. The previous series - Quilted Calendars - are no longer being designed, but are still available to download for your desktop. After 9 years and over 100 calendars, I wanted to do something different.
Sign up for my announcements group (at yahoogroups) to be notified whenever a new desktop is available. Subscribers also have access to the subscribers-only bonus files, they may be downloadable EQ projects or layout ideas for quilt blocks from previous calendars.
This site also has free quilt projects and patterns, EQ ideas and shared EQ files, find quilt inspiration.

I just really like their software, and just want to let you know about their products.

I use Electric Quilt to design all my quilts and all the quilted calendars and projects on my website, I've bought several of their software programs and fabric collections. Great product and great support from their friendly staff.

A useful little program for organizing records, I use AZZ Cardfile for all kinds of things, from my webpage links, address books, inspiration quotes, EQ tips and ideas, quilting projects, recipes and lots more.

Picnik! My new favourite, an online program for editing my digital pictures including those in my Picas and Facebook albums. Easy to use!!
